Seymours Court is a gorgeous 15th century manor house situated half a mile from the pretty village of Beckington. A working arable farm, set in 600 acres of fields, woods and winding lanes, Seymours Court can offer spacious luxury bed and breakfast to the discerning guest.
The enormous king size bedded room is comfortably decorated with luxury fabrics and all the little touches you might need for a blissful night’s sleep. It has it’s own private bathroom right next door (the bedroom and the bathroom are situated at the end of a long corridor, well away from the rest of the house), stocked full of toiletries and big fluffy towels for a decadent soak. Seymours Court can also offer a second double bedded room, for those travelling with friends or older children. We can offer ample off road parking and Wifi is available on request.
Seymours Court is set in the midst of a maze of footpaths and lanes, ideal for a gentle stroll or a more energetic hike. From the farm, a fifteen minute amble will find you in the heart of the ancient village of Beckington. You can spoil yourself with lunch or dinner at one of the two pubs or stop for coffee and a cake from Mes Amis, the local delicatassen. At the edge of the village is an award winning farm shop, stocked with every kind of produce imaginable and even it’s own fish and chip restaurant. A short drive of 20 minutes or so will take you to Bath and it’s many shops bars and restaurants. Alternatively, a visit to Longleat Safari Park is a great day out or simply wander round the ancient streets of the local market town of Frome (recently voted one of the country’s most desirable places to live). Whatever you choose to do with Seymours Court as your base, you’ll be assured of a Grand Day Out!
